Hi, I purchased gas hob from Teka in 2012 and it's flat glass with five rings. after one year one ring stopped working and the sparking was always working unless i switch it off from the socket. I paid USD60 for maintenance services in Dubai and just recently I called them again for same problem and they fixed it and paid samr amount.
If the rings on your gas hob have stopped working after the hose or gas bottle has been replaced, or after you have just moved into a new house/flat, it is very likely you have air in the hoses/pipes.
